Organic Apoteke Ayurvedic Breakfast Oatmeal

Breakfast Oatmeal with Figs and Sesame Seeds

SERVES 1
  • 1/2 cup Whole grain Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Water
  • Dried Figs, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lightly toasted Sesame Seeds (toast on a dry pan for 1 min on low heat.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cardamom
  • 1 Pinch of Nutmeg
  • 1 Pinch of Black Pepper
  1. Stir all the ingredients into rapidly boiling water. Lower the heat and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add a dash of Almond, Coconut or Rice Milk
  3. Serve hot. Enjoy!
