Organic Apoteke Ayurvedic Breakfast Oatmeal
Breakfast Oatmeal with Figs and Sesame Seeds
SERVES 1
- 1/2 cup Whole grain Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Water
- 2 Dried Figs, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lightly toasted Sesame Seeds (toast on a dry pan for 1 min on low heat.
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon Cardamom
- 1 Pinch of Nutmeg
- 1 Pinch of Black Pepper
- Stir all the ingredients into rapidly boiling water. Lower the heat and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add a dash of Almond, Coconut or Rice Milk
- Serve hot. Enjoy!
